12th Annual GO BLUE LUBBOCK COUNTY - For National Child Abuse Awareness Month. Lubbock County is one of the State's "hot spots" for child abuse and neglect. Over the last decade almost 10,000 children have been confirmed by investigation as victim of abuse and neglect. 22 children have died from abuse and neglect. It's time to move this issues out of shadows and to the front of the line. There is no greater issue facing our community than the safety of our children.
