About this Event

Here in the Maker Space we’re VERY passionate about inspiring young women into STEM subjects, and as such have developed a networking, coaching and mentoring programme, called Go Beyond, that runs every year and offers our students who identify as female an opportunity to upskill, grow in confidence and build supportive friendship groups.

This year, on the 6th March, we'll be running our first Go Beyond Women in STEM Celebration Event and we’d love you all to be there! This event is for all our female STEM students to attend, no matter what level of study. We want to celebrate our diversity, our difference and the importance of Women in STEM at Salford.

We have a fantastic line up of speakers who will inspire and celebrate with us! Please see the full agenda below. Expect inspirational talks from our Salford community, alumni and industry partners, upskill with the wonderful support teams available at Salford and of course there’ll be the all important cake and freebies!
