Join Us at Governor Mifflin Stadium on Sunday, September 28, 2025 as we kick off Homecoming with a celebration worthy of the silver-screen in honor of this year's theme, "Just Like the Movies!"!We're starting the evening with a parade, beginning in Governor Mifflin Middle School Parking Lot at 5:30 PM and traveling through our local neighborhood. To follow up the parade, we will have a new, very exciting event…. Mifflin Movie Night! This will be a FREE outdoor movie night in Governor Mifflin Stadium for our school district community, so bring a blanket or lawn chair and come out for a screening of Dreamworks’ “Home” on the big screen! This event is proudly sponsored by the Governor Mifflin Education Foundation (GMEF) so please come out and help us make this event a success! The movie will begin at sundown (approximately 7:00 PM). Governor Mifflin High School SGA will be coordinating food trucks to be on-site following the parade and during the movie night, so bring your appetite!
GMEF will also be conducting a “Fill The Truck” donation drive in collaboration with Community Aid that evening for anybody who might want to do some fall “spring cleaning," so bring gently used clothing, shoes, and household goods! Donated goods will help to raise funds for educational projects, programs, and initiatives in GMSD!
