GMAC Film’s Charity Gala Fundraiser – Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape in the Panopticon, directed by the legendary Stockard Channing
About this Event

Step into the atmospheric setting of one of Scotland’s oldest music halls, The Panopticon, for a unique evening of theatre. GMAC is thrilled to invite you to a very special showcase of Samuel Beckett’s, Krapp’s Last Tape, in an evening where compelling theatre meets meaningful charity fundraising.

Revel in Beckett's classic play, as audiences are invited into Krapp's world of solitude, memories, dreams, elation, and despair in this one-man show, directed by the legendary Stockard Channing and starring the multi-award winning actor David Westhead.

But this is more than just a night at the theatre; at a time when funding cuts are particularly impactful, your support is crucial in helping us continue our work to make a lasting impact within our communities. By purchasing a ticket, you are not only treating yourself to an unforgettable night, but you are also helping to sustain three vital charities: GMAC Film, Wembley to Soweto, and The Panopticon.

About GMAC Film:

At GMAC Film, we are committed to creating a fairer Scotland where underrepresented individuals with diverse perspectives have the skills and opportunities to tell their stories, communicate effectively, collaborate, and lead transformational change in their communities. Your support allows us to continue to provide the resources, knowledge and opportunities that enable diverse voices to flourish in the film industry.

About Wembley to Soweto:

Wembley to Soweto is an extraordinary charity that provides photographic training and life skills to disadvantaged young people worldwide. Their work has empowered countless individuals from troubled backgrounds to move their lives forward. A portion of the funds raised will help them continue their life-changing work.

About The Panopticon:

As one of Scotland’s oldest music halls, The Panopticon is a cherished venue with a rich history of supporting the arts and the community. This event is also an opportunity to support the preservation and continued operation of this historic site.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to enjoy a night of exceptional theatre while making a meaningful impact to our charities and those they support.
