Date for your diary!โจJoin the Glow Ride!โจ
Join us as we light up the night and demand safer streets and better cycling infrastructure โ for women riding after dark, and ultimately for everyone.
Cycling UK is organising a "night of action" on Wednesday 22nd October for mass "glow rides" linked with their new campaign "My ride. Our right".
Women make only half as many trips by bike as men, and are more likely to be put off cycling by a fear of busy traffic. They also feel less safe in poorly lit areas after dark. This all needs to change.
Meet outside City Hall at 6:30pm for a 7pm depart. The ride will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Donโt forget your normal bike lights, but make your bike glow with colourful light decorations - we really want to stand out!

๐ฎ Glow sticks on spokes and handlebars
๐ Reflective stickers in fun shapes
๐ก LED strips along the frame
Everyone who supports the aims of the ride is welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
