Wake up! Glow Week is kicking off EARLY this year, and registration is now open for our very first ever 1-mile Glow & Go 1-mile Color Dash! It is called a dash, but there’s no need to rush! Our first start will be at 9:30 a.m., and you can start your 1-mile journey anytime after that, setting your own goals for the course. Stop at each of the 5 Color Stations along the course for a different challenge to complete and then get doused in color! Make it through the entire 1-Mile course, earning as many colors as you can!
Be sure to visit the Main Stage area before or after the course for plenty of colorful extra activities! When you’re not on the trail, hang out and enjoy music, outdoor seating, lawn games, and self-led individual or group challenges like color-themed trivia or reimagined playground games, and of course, colorful crafts for all ages.
Pre-registration for this event is required, and includes an official white Parks & Rec t-shirt to wear on the colorful 1-mile trail through Switchyard Park. Heads up! This is a color run and will be MESSY! Remember to have a good time and to bring your own towels, wet wipes, or even a change of clothes. Please also consider wearing old clothes and shoes, and putting some sort of protection on your phones or cameras to protect charging ports from being exposed to color powder particles.
SPECIAL NOTE: Registration for this event is offered ONLY through Bloomington Parks & Recreation. "Resale" or transfer of registration is NOT accepted through third parties. If you are offered tickets to this event, it is a SCAM.
