𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 : Sunday 24th August. Gates open at noon
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Hadfield Cricket Club

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We have 8 teams so far including 4 newbies! They will battle it out over 5 rounds (wings, mince, ribs, brisket & dessert)to be crowned grand champions. The teams work extremely hard with prep starting the day before and cooking very early in the morning to prepare their entries. Any extra are handed out to spectators. ❗️𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦❗️
𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: This years judging panel will include representatives from The Old School BBQ Bus and John Mettrick as well as renowned food critic Louise Rhind-Tutt. We also have a couple of special guest judges to be announced in due course and of course we will run our competiton for one lucky member of the public to join the judges table so keep an eye out! 👀

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰: We’ll have live performances from local acts Ojc Vawdrey & Jamie Stuart all afternoon.
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: As usual, we’ll also be using the day to help raise valuable funds for local charity Reuben's Retreat with our raffle and donation buckets that you’ll find on any of the stalls. Any change you can spare will seriously help to change lives.
