Gloria Roubal I Used to Float Record Release Party
Sunday, February 1, 2026 | The Rose Bowl Tavern, Urbana
Join Champaign-Urbana singer-songwriter Gloria Roubal for a special record release party celebrating her latest album, I Used to Float.
The evening features a full-band performance of original music from the album—an eclectic collection of melodic, guitar-based alt-pop songs with strong hooks, lyrical depth, and a strong pop sensibility. Influenced by alternative rock and pop, the songs blend thoughtful storytelling with accessible melodies.
Roubal will be joined by Ian Shepherd (drums), Jesse Brown (keyboards), Jill Greenlee (bass and harmony vocals), and Mark White (electric guitar), with Roubal on lead vocals and acoustic guitar.
The show opens with a set by Jules Rose at 7:00 PM, followed by Gloria Roubal’s full-band set from 8:00–9:00 PM.
I Used to Float has been streaming on major platforms since December 5. Physical CDs will be available at the show and on Bandcamp, with digital copies also available for purchase. The album was recorded at High Cross Sound in Urbana and showcases songs that balance reflection, resilience, and accessible melodies.
