Lapwing soared across the Sheffield music scene with their exquisite harmonies and we were very lucky to have them as guests last year before they had to go separate ways.But Captain Jack Avery is never quiet for long and he is back with Cowbird. This is quite different, expect lots of songs you will want to sing along with, old time/gospel/blues/cowboy favourites, lots of voices and instruments and a great deal of fun.
We will also have a set of Beki Dunn who has the knack of singing beautiful interpretations. Plus your resident stripped down Orchestra of Truth, Gloria Monday of course.
All income will go to Rethink Mental Illness who run the Sheffield Crisis House, offering 24 hour residential support for people experiencing acute mental health crisis. This short term but very focused intensive support can turn around the lives of people experiencing profound difficulties and distress. All income from ticket sales, raffle and collection will go to Rethink.
