Two of the finest ornaments on the mantelpiece of Sheffield music making, Julie and Tim write great songs, Tim is a master of the guitar and cello and Julie sings exquisitely. Their album, ‘Made from a Broken Star’ was featured recently on Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone programme on Radio 6.It’s a very long time since they were last able to play for us, with life getting in the way, so we are really pleased that they can play for us this year.
We will also have a set from Cold Bones, a great characterful Sheffield songwriter who went down a storm on his debut at thre Grand Ol’ Bowling Club last year.

All income will go to Rethink Mental Illness who run the Sheffield Crisis House, offering 24 hour residential support for people experiencing acute mental health crisis. This short term but very focused intensive support can turn around the lives of people experiencing profound difficulties and distress.
