Last year Glass Ships helped us out by performing at short notice when we had a change of plan. We had not seen them before but we were blown away by their musical partnership, Great vocals and really excellent playing on guitar & harp, we were so please that of course we’ve asked them back.Paul Chisnell is a very old friend and a brilliant singer, we’ve shared many stages with him, particularly when he was a member of Ar Faoued, but he also popped up at the Bowling Club a year ago, invited to sing with Treebeard. He has a new partnership with guitarist Richard Freeman and when we heard them playing a collection of classic jazz era songs with great guitar accompaniment. we had to invite them to the Grand Ol’ Bowling Club of course.
