Admission is free and open to current USC students only. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Check-in for the event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on campus. Students will travel together on the Metro E Line to Gloria Molina Grand Park and return to campus at 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided during the tour.
USC Students will need a Metro TAP card to participate. Students can sign up for the USC U-Pass Program at .
Experience the vibrant tradition and learn the significance of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at at . The two-week exhibition is a community-oriented space that invites park-goers to stroll through 20 altars made by professional artists and local organizations led by long-time multimedia artist, educator, and curator .
USC students will join Flores for a private tour of the stunning altars, which honor people, places, and ideas and uniquely reflect Los Angeles, and contribute to a community altar. Additionally, Flores will lead students in a Día de Los Muertos–themed art-making project to take home.
