As we approach the end of 2025, and the culmination of our 50th anniversary celebrations, Madrigal'75 warmly invites you to join us for our Christmas Concerts in the MTU Cork School of Music this December!The two performances will be in the MTU Cork School of Music, Curtis Auditorium, Union Quay, on Wednesday December 17th, and Thursday December 18th, at 7.30pm each night, as part of the Cork Orchestral Society concert series.
The concerts will feature some ever-popular carols we have performed for our audiences over the years, including Holst’s cherished setting of In the bleak midwinter, the boisterous carol, Ding dong merrily on high and one of our all-time favourites, Silent Night.
This year, we also present a newly commissioned arrangement of Don Oíche úd i mBeithil by Milo McCarthy, an MTU CSM BMus student, and a Madrigal'75 tenor! As always, we will also perform a selection of interesting new carols.
All-in-all, it is our great pleasure to perform a wonderfully varied mix of seasonal choral music for you!
To round-off our evening, we will perform Bach’s rousing opening movement from Cantata 191, Gloria in Excelsis Deo!, together with guest instrumentalists from the Cork School of Music.
Seasonal fayre, including light bites and refreshments, will be available to enjoy after the concerts!

Tickets will go on sale Monday 1st December 9am
