About this Event

Come create with us at the Globeville community craft circle! This is a gathering of individuals who share a common interest in various crafts and artistic activities. This circle typically consists of people from the local community who come together to create, share, and enjoy the process of making handmade items. The primary focus is on fostering a sense of community, creativity, the love of yarn and skill-sharing.
Globeville Craft Circle has:

  1. Inclusive Atmosphere: Craft circles are known for their welcoming and inclusive environments. People of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are encouraged to participate.
  2. Diverse Crafts: Participants engage in a wide range of crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting, embroidery, and more. The diversity of crafts allows for a rich exchange of ideas and techniques.
  3. Skill Sharing: One of the main purposes of our craft circle is to share skills and knowledge. Experienced crafters often help beginners, offering guidance and tips. This creates a supportive learning environment.
  4. Social Interaction: Beyond the crafting aspect, community craft circles provide an opportunity for socializing. Participants can share stories, experiences, and even collaborate on projects.
  5. Regular Meetings: Globeville Craft Circle meets weekly on Tuesdays at Globeville Rec center from 5-7pm.
  6. Open to All Ages: Craft circles can include people of all ages, from children to seniors. This diversity adds to the dynamic nature of the group and allows for intergenerational connections.
  7. Project Show and Tell: Members may showcase their completed projects or works in progress, providing inspiration for others. This sharing helps build a sense of accomplishment and encourages creativity.
  8. Themed Sessions: We have themed sessions or workshops, focusing on a particular craft or technique for a more structured learning experience.
  9. Community Projects: We have a Giving Tree project that we do annually as well as prep for markets or what ever kind of help that fellow crafting friends.... Also YARN BOMBING!!!!!
  10. Relaxed Environment: The atmosphere in a community craft circle is generally relaxed and informal, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable crafting experience.
