The Globalytics Hackathon is an exclusive collaboration between AIESEC SFU and the Data Science Student Society (DSSS)—a first-of-its-kind competition where business meets data. This high-impact event provides an insight into business analytics, providing a real-world challenge for students to tackle using data visualization and strategic problem-solving.

Globalytics Hackathon 2025 is designed for students with little to no experience in the data world, making it an inclusive opportunity for anyone interested in business analytics and data-driven problem-solving. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced data enthusiast, this event will challenge you to think critically and creatively.

• The case study will be released on March 20th, giving teams two days to review the data and begin brainstorming solutions.

• A training module will also be provided to help participants understand key concepts and enhance their analytical skills before the competition.

• Don’t have a team? No worries! You’ll be randomly assigned to a team of 4 to collaborate and compete.
