About this Event
We are pleased to share with you the invitation and registration details for the upcoming Global WASH Cluster (GWC) Annual Meeting. This hybrid event, with options for in-person and online participation, will be held in Budapest, Hungary from 16th-17th May 2022, from 09h00-17h00 CEST daily (see agenda below).
Objectives
The Global WASH Cluster’s (GWC) Annual Meeting will be an opportunity to present the 2022 – 2025 Strategic Plan. This will allow for time for looking back at previous achievements and challenges from the previous strategic cycle and focus on moving forward providing an overview of the next strategy, along with the revised governance structure and membership.
The meeting will focus on identifying and agreeing upon the priority actions to be taken to operationalize the next strategic cycle and the contributions from GWC members and national coordination platforms. This will further inform the finalization of the draft Implementation Plan and Monitoring Framework.
Audience
The priority audience for this event is GWC members and WASH Cluster Coordination Platforms. Note that this is a personal invite, not to be shared with others, and registrations remain limited for this upcoming collaborative event.
Venue and registration
The collaborative meeting will be hybrid, in-person participation will take place in Budapest, GSSC UNICEF Office, and online participation will take place on ZOOM. Please note that registration is required in order to participate and that due to Covid-19 continued restrictions, there is limited space for in-person participation. We kindly ask for flexibility as people who register for in-person attendance could be asked to attend online.
Please register your participation no later than Friday, 1st April 2022. For those who plan to travel to Budapest, please refer to the information provided in the admin note below for your travel bookings, visas, and take careful note of the travel restrictions. The final confirmations for either in-person and/or online participation will be sent by Wednesday, 6th April 2022.

Emergency Environmental Health Forum 2022 - 18-19th May 2022
Note that the Emergency Environmental Health Forum (EEHF) will be held the same week 18-19th May. Please note that the GWC Annual Meeting registration does not guarantee a seat at the EEHF. Registrations for in-person options are open until Friday 15th April 2022. Please note that registration is required in order to participate and that there is limited space for in-person participation.
