About this Event
Ismaili CIVIC North West London are excited to announce that they will be participating in the Global Ismaili CIVIC Day (GICD) on 26 September 2021. GICD aims to bring together volunteers, civil society partners, and other stakeholders from across the globe to support and give back to the communities in which we live.
Focusing on the theme of Environmental Stewardship, Ismaili CIVIC North West London will be organising a clean-up of the Yeading Brook and litter picking in Headstone Manor Park, Harrow. Everyone is welcome to join in the activities, so please inform all your family members, friends and co-workers to get involved!
To participate, please sign-up to either one of the following clean-up activities:
1. Yeading Brook clean-up (max 30 volunteers, over 16’s only). Bring your wellies / waterproof boots!
2. Litter picking in Headstone Manor Park (under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult)
The volunteering activities above will start at 10.00am and finish at 12.30pm. Refreshments and other relaxing activities – including the chance to visit Headstone Manor & Museum - will be available post clean-up until 4.00pm for all volunteers.
