About this Event
The United Nations Association, Sacramento Chapter, is proud to present the sixth event in our "Global Goals Local Leaders" speaker series. Each event in the series will be dedicated to celebrating the Sustainable Development Goals -- and exploring how local leaders are making these goals a reality in our own community.
This month, the forum will focus on Sustainable Development Goal #6: Water.
Our expert speakers will discuss the innovative programs and practices that are building a more sustainable and equitable water infrastructure. But, beyond that, we will also dive into how advocates are using the SDGs as a framework to improve local policies.
We are excited to learn how leaders are building a system that works better for everyone, at each step in the process. And Sacramento innovators, advocates, and policymakers are leading the way.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network, ask questions, support the efforts, and learn about the progress that is being made.
Speakers to be announced soon...
