Welcome to Global Game Jam Timișoara!Join us at the Haufe Group Romania offices on the 15th floor of UBC0 (United Business Center), right next to Iulius Mall, for an unforgettable weekend of game creation!
We're bringing back the magic of in-person game jams and creating a space where developers, artists, designers, and enthusiasts can come together to build awesome games. Whether you're a seasoned developer or have never made a game before, everyone is welcome!

Friday, January 30: 6pm - 11pm (Opening & Team Formation)
Saturday, January 31: 10am - 11pm (Full Development Day)
Sunday, February 1: 10am - 6pm (Final Push & Presentations)

Who Can Join?
Everyone! No experience required.
We especially encourage students looking to team up and learn, solo participants wanting to find their team at the jam, existing teams ready to create, and anyone passionate about games.
Coming solo? Perfect - team formation happens on-site at the start of the jam.
What We're Creating
Primarily focused on video game development across all platforms and genres.
Board game designers are also welcome to participate.
We are also showcasing artworks created by students from the UVT Game Art program, displayed throughout the venue for inspiration and celebration of local talent.
On-Site Facilities
High-speed WiFi, free coffee and water, drinks and snacks available, food options nearby (Iulius Mall), quiet spaces for focused work, recycling facilities, experienced mentors on-site.
We will also have a Board Game Entertainment Area powered by Unlock Games, where participants can relax, reset, and get inspired by tabletop mechanics and design.
What to Bring
Your laptop (essential!), chargers and peripherals (mouse, headphones, etc.), personal food and drinks if you have dietary needs (we will have coffee and water, but meals are self-provided).
Most importantly: your energy and creativity!
