Global Game Jam 2026 @ Benilde

For over 12 years, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) has been a proud site host for Global Game Jam and has been the longest-running global game jam site in the Philippines. In the spirit of tradition, IGDA-GUILD will continue this annual event by returning on-site for the whole 48 hours.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Jammers must be 18 years of age or older. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times during the jam. Please see [Global Game Jam Age Policy: bit.ly/3B4DlOH] for more details. Jammers can participate solo, as a pair, or as a maximum team of 5.

HOW CAN I JOIN?

Jammers must register through the Eventbrite platform. Please note that the registration link will be closed on 26 January 2026, at 6:00 PM, and no on-site registration will be allowed. Only pre-registered jammers can enter the Benilde GGJ site.

WHERE IS THE SITE LOCATED?

The jam site will be at the 5F Augusto-Rosario Gonzales Theatre at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Taft Campus (2544 Taft Ave, Malate, Manila, 1004 Metro Manila). The event will take place from 30 January to 1 February 2026.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

1. Jammers are recommended to bring the following items/equipment:

3. Extension cords
4. Sleeping kit; pillows/mat/blanket/sleeping bags
5. Jacket/Sweater
6. ID
7. Water Tumbler/Aquaflask
8. Food Cash

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

1. The site has a curfew each day starting at 9:00 PM up to 6:00 AM. Jammers must be present on-site during these hours.
2. Optional snacks will be provided on-site. There are also food stalls and restaurants in the vicinity. It is advised that the jammers get their food before the curfew hours.
3. The WIFI password will be provided upon checking in at the venue.
4. Jammers must remain at the site throughout the event and will only be allowed to go out to eat. Leaving the site to work at home is not permitted to ensure fairness to all participants.
5. There are paid parking spaces available for jammers within the vicinity.
6. Despite staying overnight, jammers are required to adhere to the DLS-CSB dress code guidelines. Refer to the guidelines here: bit.ly/3Vc13zq
7. DLS-CSB is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus. The use of prohibited substances or equipment is strictly forbidden on or near the premises.
