About this Event
For over 11 years, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) has been a proud site host for Global Game Jam and has been the longest-running global game jam site in the Philippines. In the spirit of tradition, will continue this annual event by returning on-site for the whole 48 hours.
This event is organized by Gamers Union for Innovation and Leadership Development (IGDA-GUILD), the premiere student game development organization of DLS-CSB.
What is Global Game Jam?
Global Game Jam (GGJ) is an international, 48-hour game development event that brings together developers, artists, designers, and enthusiasts to create complete games from scratch. It serves as a platform for participants to collaborate, exchange ideas, learn new skills, and push their creative boundaries.
Who is IGDA-GUILD?
The Gamers Union for Innovation and Leadership Development, also known as GUILD, is the professional organization of the Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Development (BS-GDD) program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. We are committed in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can explore their passions in games, learn from experienced mentors, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Our vision is to connect and introduce the Game Development Industry to the general public, and the organization also acts as a recognized student chapter of the International Game Developers Association.
Where is the jam site located?
The jam site will be at the ARG Theatre and 5th-floor classrooms located at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Taft Campus (2544 Taft Ave, Malate, Manila, 1004 Metro Manila). The event will take place from January 24-26.
How can I join?
Your ticket will serve as your entry for the event. Jammers must present their tickets during the event and will serve as their attendance.
