<english below="">先日の”Shogun”のエミー賞１８部門受賞を始め、日本の映画界がスキルやビジネスルールを含め「グローバルスタンダード化」への脱皮はもはや待ったなしの状況になりました。
今後海外との共同制作に参加したり、海外のプロジェクトで働く機会がますます増えることが予想されます。しかしグローバルスタンダードな制作技術や知識、あるいは英語ターミノロジー、さらにフェアトレードによる国際ビジネスルールにのっとった制作運営を行わなければ世界から相手にされなくなります。
この「Global Films 勉強会」はそんな危機感から発足し、最終的には日本初のグローバルスタンダードにのっとった制作による映画制作を目指そうということで始まりました。
今回は東京国際映画祭(TIFF)とも連動し、こうした動きを世界にも知らせる意味もありこのキックオフパーテイーを開催したいと思います。

"Shogun" winning the Emmy award in 18 categories are history making for Japanese film industry. Because we anticipate that the chance of international collaboration between film makers or Japanese crew or actors to take part on international projects will increase after this award winning. It has become mandatory for Japanese industry to make an adjustment to international film industry in terms of film production skills and business rules that most film industry people outside Japan take it for granted.
Because many Japanese industry people still persists filming methods that are only common in Japan and not outside Japan, which is sometimes ridiculed as "Islas Galápagos" or Galápagos Island because is so different, old, unchanged for many decades, isolating its self from the rest of the world.
The world will turn back on us if we persists on this methods and lose business opportunities for international film making.
In order to avoid that, we have organized the group called "Global film making " and turn Japanese film production and business method based on global standard method.
With the link to Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) , we will begin this movement by organizing this "KIck-off party"
