Join us in London for a protest as we say NO to the Beijing 2022 Winter Games.Beijing is due to host the 2022 Winter Games next February, despite the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) appalling human rights record, which includes genocide. Horrendous human rights abuses are being directed from Beijing against Tibetans, Uyghurs, Hongkongers, Southern Mongolians and Chinese citizens. Enough is enough.
The last time Beijing hosted an Olympics in 2008 there was a brutal crackdown in Tibet. Now the human rights situation under the CCP is more appalling than ever. The CCP must not be allowed to use another festival of sport to legitimise its brutal policies.
Join us to tell the British government to say NO to genocide, NO to repression and NO to the CCP's Olympics. If not now…when?
Speakers will include Rahima Mahmut (World Uyghur Congress), Pema Yoko (Tibetan Community in Britain) and Benedict Rogers (Chair of Hong Kong Watch). More speakers to be confirmed.
