A Musical Life is a brand-new performance from the inimitable Glenn Amer – a master of his craft and a warm and gregarious storyteller. Glenn tells the story of his life and musical career – from his first journey to London aged eleven (flying alone!) to his work with renowned Australian pianist, Geoffrey Parsons; to performing with famous singers such as Rita Hunter, Yvonne Kenny and Mirusia, and his travels to more than seventy countries. Interspersed with beautiful songs and romantic piano music such as Liszt’s Liebestraume, Debussy’s Clair de Lune and other beautiful piano music, and interpreted alongside songs like With a Song in my Heart, Without a Song, and the beautiful ‘Till There Was You.Come along to a wonderful morning of music, featuring an all-new repertoire from one of Glen Street’s most beloved performers.
