This surface-focused workshop introduces polychrome glaze manipulation using resist materials like painter’s tape, wax, and latex. Participants will develop multi-layered surfaces that incorporate both structure and spontaneity. Demonstrations will cover planning imagery, layering techniques, and successful glaze combinations. Instruction includes a slide-talk, demo, and discussion of color development, line clarity, and finding motion in static form.You will need to bring high-fire bisqueware with you!! Please prepare this well in advance of the workshop.
