Join historian Dr Mark Hutchinson on Tuesday 21st October at 7pm for an engaging and accessible exploration of “Glastonbury at Sea – the Importance of Ships and Boats to Glastonbury.” Discover how waterways, ships, and seafaring shaped the Abbey’s history and connections to the wider world.
Informative and lively, this talk brings to life the often-overlooked maritime story of Glastonbury and its enduring place in history.
The talk will begin at 7pm and conclude by 8pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. This talk is at Abbey House. There is no access to Abbey House from the main abbey site and only ticket holders may attend the event. These events are pre-sale tickets only and there will be no tickets available on the door.
