Hello friends ! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is excited to embrace the new year with grace and joy !! I want this class to act as restorative as It can be while we build a resourceful education together. So I’ll fill you in on a few things if you’re planning on joining my first six week mission starting this week. I will be heating the space more thoroughly and creating a more engaging and comfortable work space for all our age groups. I also encourage parents/caregivers to help keep our kiddos engaged by keeping topics of conversation to the days work . Week one will be a rotation of glass based centers around the room in order of process and skill level . I also want friends and parents know if your student is working well independently, you are welcome to excuse yourself to go inside and decompress a bit , make calls or just sit on my couch or at the table to relax and talk to one another . My reach is quite small and I haven’t got much interest for a more structured glass workshop but starting this Tuesday I AM going to be running through the motions of this 6 week course with my myself and my family and maybe some of you who have stuck with me.
I’m was feeling a bit apprehensive about applying pressure to get this done and carry out the curriculum because of lack of outside interest but I believe the interest is HERE and I think we’re all in need of a shift and would like to welcome trying something new together . Something structured and with purpose, because our kids love that. And we do too 😉
I’m beaming with excitement if you can’t tell, because I love working with all of you and your kids. 🥰 I’m so happy to be here with you all to build community for our families.
I’d also like to add that if everyone could send me their email, I could send this discussion out that way. I would like to make things a little more formal, even without having a website yet.
