Yakima Valley College’s STEM program is partnering with volunteers from Yakima Recycles Glass to host a glass recycling drive on the Yakima Campus. Community members and local businesses will be able to dispose of glass food and beverage containers in a low-cost, ecologically sustainable way. Recycling costs are based on weight, with a $5 minimum donation for up to 20 lbs. cash only; materials may be dropped off from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.Participating in the drive will help save energy, reduce carbon emissions, minimize landfill waste and keep the Yakima Valley community clean.

Rinse out bottles
Remove metal caps and collars, leaving labels is fine
Volunteers will inspect your glass and collect acceptable donations
Drop Off Location
Drop off will be held in YVC’s Parking Lot H off of 12th Avenue by Parker Faller Baseball Field
