Afro House rising star - Caiiro Live at Glass Island Sydney!
After a sold out event last time, Movement are proud to announce our next collaboration with Glass Island. We are excited to announce Caiiro’s maiden Australian tour. The event will be supported by Sydney’s finest Afro House and Organic/Progressive House DJ’s featured across 2 floors.
ABOUT CAIIRO
South African native Caiiro has been making a name for himself with stellar productions including the smash hit - Your Voice which resulted in the track being remixed by Adam Port ( Keine Musik) and Enoo Napa. Last year he was one of the highest streamed Afro artists on Spotify with his tracks streamed over 20 million times across 180 countries.
Catchy rhythms, haunting beats and deep emotions saturate the Afro-house sound of DJ/producer Caiiro. His sound is forged from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique & distinct take on the genre.
Cairo's rise was confirmed by his 2020 album, Agora. The diverse 30-track release features contributions from Pixie L, Xoli M, Wunmi, Thabz da Mos Hi, Mpumi, Anda Cass and Black Motion, proving that Cairo had clearly entered the Afro-house pantheon.
His tracks are regularly featured in the charts and get support from the top DJ’s across the genre. This will be an event you don’t want to miss!
