Glass Icicle OrnamentsMake your own crystal clear, sparkling glass icicle ornaments. We will discuss basic safety techniques for the studio as well as work in the oxygen-fuel torch using borosilicate glass to practice making loops for the top of the ornament as well as make the ornament itself.
IMPORTANT: Students taking glass courses using a torch must wear natural fiber clothing (i.e., cotton shirt and denim jeans), closed-toe shoes, and hair tied back and out of the way. Loose clothing that will be in the way of the torch is strongly discouraged. Please wear clothing that is not essential to your wardrobe.
