Class will begin with studio safety instruction and introduction to use of a dual fuel torch. Students will work with Borosilicate glass and soft glass - giving you experience with two of the most commonly used glasses in flameworking! We will create clear heart pendants or pocket tokens in borosilicate glass and progress to adding color and sparkle. Then we will switch to soft glass to create glass candy that looks good enough to eat!
Glint will provide all the glass and tools you need to complete your projects.
Come make some glass treasures and meet some new friends while you learn the fundamentals of manipulating two types of glass with heat and gravity, using color, adding hooks, and more!

All Materials Included
Creations will need to be properly annealed (cooled slowly overnight in a kiln for strength and durability) and can be picked up during open hours or by appointment within the next two weeks.
