About the artist…
Patricia has worked as an Artist and Community Artist for over 20 years, delivering Arts in Health and community projects in hospitals, schools and community settings. She has worked on high-profile art projects including Go Superlambananas for Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture year and Our City for which she teamed up with CITV Art Attack’s Neil Buchanan. In 2014 Patricia was selected to exhibit in the first British exhibition at the prestigious mosaic beinniel in Chartres, France. In 2019 Patricia was a winning artist on BBC1’s Home is where the Art is hosted by artist Nick Knowles.
Her mosaic and fused glass sculpture Mandy Mandala Superlambanana was originally created as a symbol of peace, hope and unity for the communities of Liverpool during Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture. Mandy went on to sell at auction for £25,000 to TV Producer and Chair of The Culture Company, Phil Redmond, and is now housed in the Museum of Liverpool on Albert Dock.
