Glass fusing is a process where individual pieces of glass are joined together with heat in a kiln. In this class you will learn the basic of glass fusing and make a beautiful glass art piece. During this class you will be making the glass inserts for a Lantern. This will consist of making 4 glass panels. I will provide all the materials necessary as well as guidance and firing of the pieces. I will assemble the lanterns once the glass has been fired. Multiple types of glass will be available for you to create your one of a kind piece of glass art.
Please note: The projects will need to be fired in a kiln. They will be ready for pick up 7-10 days after the event at Coconut Barrel.
Cost: $60 includes all supplies and firing, etc
Class size is limited to 6; all attendants must be 16 years of age or older

GLASS SAFETY NOTE: YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH CUT GLASS WHICH CAN BE DANGEROUS IF NOT HANDLED PROPERLY. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES. PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO ADHERE TO ALL GLASS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
