🦋Our Glasgow flutter will be waiting with open wings to welcome you! Sober Butterfly Collective is a voluntary powered alcohol free community on a mission to combat social isolation. The aim is to create genuine friendships by providing opportunities to meet likeminded people.
Please note: We are usually seated upstairs in this venue, where there is more space but unfortunately this venue does not have lift access. If this affects your ability to join us, please let us know. `We're always happy to explore alternatives.

Curious Coffee Catch-ups have evolved as our signature social, a friendly, supportive and inclusive meet-up to help individuals find their flutter by creating local connections.

Our CCC meet-up is FREE but it has a limited capacity so please only reserve a spot if you definitely intend to attend. Otherwise you are taking a seat someone else could have. If something changes, we get it, life happens please just do us the courtesy of cancelling your ticket so someone else can come.

Please note: Our meet-ups are held nationally but are dependent upon our volunteer butterfly buddies availability and are not always in the same location. So although our meet-ups are monthly please do check back next month for where the next ones are.

CURIOUS

As an inclusive community it is important to us to make everyone feel welcome no matter where you are on your journey with exploring sobriety or changing your relationship with alcohol. So whether you are a sober-curious caterpillar, just dipping your wings into an alcohol-free lifestyle or have spread your wings as a sober butterfly already we invite you to come along to our coffee catchups to meet and chat with like-minded individuals who can relate and "get it".

COFFEE

Because when you break up with booze you reclaim your mornings... so we like to celebrate that with a morning weekend meet-up on the second Sober Saturday of the month. These socials are hosted in independent coffee shops as we love to support local. Of course coffee isn’t compulsory - drink whatever you fancy! Pay for what you like or can afford. There is no pressure or judgement.

CATCH-UPS

We host these meetups once a month on the same day and at the same time for a reason. We like to provide consistency and the opportunity to meet regularly in order to build friendships. We find that once someone has been to one…they come back time and time again!

Some people use these meet-ups just to drop in out of curiousity and speak to likeminded people who want to or have already changed their relationship with alcohol. There is no expectation to have a ‘sober streak’ or certain number of days sobriety. All we ask is you kindly don’t attend hungover to be mindful to those it might trigger.

🦋 The meetups are facilitated by "Butterfly Buddies" who are friendly, positive and supportive individuals within our collective who have committed to helping a local butterfly community flourish within their area. They are always waiting with open wings to welcome you into their flutter.

At our meetups, we like to keep things laid-back and casual. Feel free to chat about whatever comes to mind - there's no set structure or agenda here! Just relax, be yourself, and let the conversation flow naturally.
