About this Event
Glasgow Human Rights Network Working Group and the University of Glasgow’s Community Matters Programme are delighted to announce the upcoming relaunch of the Glasgow Human Rights Network (GHRN), as a hub for both academic and third sector/community-based human rights defenders and experts in Scotland, as well as for those newer to that journey.
This is the second of two relaunch events. The first brought together academics and students from universities across Glasgow to share common areas of work and to explore potential priorities for the Network. This second event re-launches the Network more widely, and is specifically open to organisations, groups and activists who are curious about the Network’s activities and our hopes and plans for the coming year - and potentially interested in being involved.
We welcome you all to come and join us for at the beginning of this next adventure!
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and we are also committed to be as inclusive as possible in other ways, so if you – or someone else you want to invite - needs travel, child-care or other costs met to in order to come along, please let us know by ticking the box on the registration form, and we’ll be back in touch. Lunch will also be provided at one o'clock, marking the end of the event, so we can eat together - so do let us know if you can stay for that (you can tell us about dietary needs on the form too).
