Join us for an unforgettable day of learning, connection, and solidarity as we walk together through Glasgow, visiting eight places of worship. Marking 850 years of Glasgow, we’ll be celebrating the city’s diversity and raising much-needed funds for our vital work promoting friendship, dialogue, and cooperation between people of different religions and cultures.What’s involved?
Visit 8 diverse places of worship across Glasgow, starting at St Andrew's Parish West in the City Centre
Hear blessings for Glasgow from 8 different traditions
Walk approximately 5 miles throughout the day (with breaks!)
End the day with a free vegetarian shared meal at the Sikh Gurdwara in Pollokshields, finishing at approximately 6.45 pm
What we ask of you:
Register with a suggested £10 donation
Set up a fundraising page in a few easy steps (or share the group page) - you'll receive information about how to do this
Aim to raise (or donate) at least £75 in sponsorship, if possible!
Be part of a team effort to raise at least £5,000
Join in with the spirit of the day—curious, respectful, and open-hearted!
Every penny raised will support work tackling prejudice, welcoming refugees, and building friendship and understanding across diverse faith and belief communities.
