About this Event
Please join us Saturday, May 3rd at the Savannah Botanical Gardens for "Glam in the Garden". A selection of previously loved handbags, jewelry, books, outdoor planters and and a variety of fresh homemade baked goods. This event will be in conjunction with our bi-annual plant sale.
The Savannah Botanical Gardens is a 10-acre site located at 1388 Eisenhower Drive in Savannah, Georgia. It includes a magnificent rose garden, winter, fall, herb, children's garden, vegetable gardens, camellia, perennial, shade, and fern gardens. There are also nature trails surrounding a lovely pond. It is located just minutes from Savannah's Historic District.
Another feature of the garden is the historic Reinhard house. It was built near present-day downtown Savannah for the Reinhard family around 1840.
This German vernacular farmhouse is a unique survivor of Savannah's 19th century architectural history.
It was moved, to escape demolition, to its current location at the Botanical Garden in 1990. Today it serves as the host site and headquarters for the Savannah Area Council of Garden Clubs, Inc., and its member clubs.
The Savannah Area Council of Garden Clubs, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. The garden is free of charge and open to the public seven days a week. It is maintained by a team of volunteers and is funded by our fundraisers, special events and the generosity of our member clubs.
