Perennial Movement Group presents "Glad You’re Here: An Evening of Intergenerational Dance" featuring work created by John Giffin, Crystal Michelle Perkins, Chloe Napoletano and Sarah Ramey in collaboration with dancers ranging in age from 25-85.
ABOUT THE WORK
"Reunions", directed by John Giffin in collaboration with a cast of dancers over the age of 70, is a dance-theater work that examines the desires that drive people to come together, grow apart, and reconnect over the course of their lives.
PMG Directors Chloe Napoletano and Sarah Ramey created "See Through" in collaboration with a 20-person intergenerational cast. Using movement and text sourced from the dancers’ answers to the question, “What am I made of?,” this work explores how we see ourselves, how we see others, and the limits of knowing and being known by those around us. This work features original music by Columbus-based musician Steven Ramey.
Guest choreographer Crystal Michelle Perkin’s "American Mixtape (42)" continues her exploration of the vast continuum of Black embodied dialects rooted in the vibrancy of memory, kinship, and experience. This work includes performers from The Ohio State University Department of Dance and professional dancers based in Central Ohio.

Performances will be held on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, both at 7pm, at Columbus Performing Arts Center (549 Franklin Ave., Columbus, OH 43215).
Tickets go on sale April 5!
