A personal note from Max: My longest standing musical partner is Kevin O’Leary. I met him at a party 12 years ago and instantly fell in love with his humble way of taking someone on a journey through his songs. We started playing open mics together for fun as a duo, and then eventually started a band called Dirty Blanket. There is a special magic to his songwriting and vocal abilities that still inspires me to this day, and it’s one of my greatest joys making music with him. We wanted to try to put together a show just the two of us, still chasing the feeling of signing up for our first open mics, without a care in the world. Please join us at the wonderful Geneseo Riviera Theater on May 10 for a night of acoustic music by the original “dirty & blanket”. -mf
