In the first weekend of the spring school holidays, the G.J. Gardner Homes Whangamatā Half Marathon also offers 10km and 5km course options for runners and walkers, with a stunning seaside start and finish at iconic Williamson Park.Stay for prize-giving to be in to win from a generous spot prize pool; the G.J. The event has a long tradition in the community and is still proudly fundraising for the Lions Club of Whangamatā. You can also contribute through the “Pay an Entry Forward” initiative and buy an extra entry for a Whangamatā local who otherwise wouldn’t be able to enter, with your entry.
Training plans are available for each of the 21km, 10km and 5km distances.
