Insight Myanmar is a podcast that originally began covering spirituality, but switched gears after the 2019 military coup to focus on what was missing from mainstream media coverage at the time, in seeking to give Burmese voices a direct outlet to the world. As such, the podcast frequently speaks to and profiles artists, activists, politicians, and more. Among those to reference the podcast are Mother Jones, Foreign Policy, The Diplomat, ABC News, and others. Insight Myanmar later also established Better Burma, a nonprofit, to deliver urgent humanitarian care to Myanmar. The podcast has now been running for over five years now.
