• Highlight funding and collaboration opportunities

Challenge businesses to rethink how creative technology can shape new products and services

CoSTAR Live Lab facilities include:VR/XR and immersive audio-visual environments, motion capture, LED virtual production, user experience labs, biometric data capture, high-performance computing, and a private 5G Network.

Sam Gardner - Director of Enterprise Works at the University of York

Sam will introduce the Creative Technology Discovery Cluster (C3), a Mayoral-funded North Yorkshire initiative supporting businesses to explore, experiment with, and adopt creative and digital technologies; whether you’re an SME looking to spark fresh ideas or a larger organisation with a structured innovation agenda.

Sam will show how the C3 cluster enables businesses to:

• Explore new R&D opportunities using creative and interactive technologies, while de-risking early-stage technology exploration

• Generate new ideas and insight for R&D, and identify partners to shape ideas and collaborate on pilots, trials, and development projects

• Navigate innovation funding routes to support experimentation, proof-of-concept work, and pilot activity

Sam will also outline the upcoming C3 events which will provide hands-on opportunities to collaborate, test ideas, and try the technology.

This event is held at Patch, which has ramp access and wheelchair accessible toilets.
