Give Power To The People: Music & Action
Come join us at Cafe Istanbul for a night of Music and Humanity! This event is all about empowering our community through sharing our gifts, skills, talents & resources with all people through "bottom-up" organizing.
Led by Cole Williams, founder of The Greater New Orleans Citizens Relief Team (GNOCRT) and one of Symphonic's "8 Black Artists Making Waves in 2024," we've got an incredible night of entertainment including a solo performance from Cole Williams (The Cole Williams Band), a talk about the history of organizing a movement through the Ella Baker style of organizing, and tributes to the late Mimi Mladenoff (GNOCRT) & 60-year Organizer, the late Curtis Muhammad.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to be a part of something special. See you there!
