About this Event

Join us for a unique, informative workshop about respite care. Brought to you by the ElderSource Caregiver Coalition of Northeast Florida. Feel free to share this event with others !
As always, our workshops are brought to you at NO COST.

As a caregiver, you work hard to make sure that the one you care for has his or her needs met. How are you about taking care of your own needs? Respite care is an opportunity for you to get the break that you need while ensuring that the one you care for has supervision, care, one-on-one interaction and socialization.
In this program, we'll explore the different types of respite care available, associated costs, and what to ask or look for in a respite care provider.
This program presented both online and in-person at the Pablo Creek Public Library on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville. Once the 90-minute online presentation is made, in person attendees are welcome to stay for complimentary boxed lunches and to visit with community vendors at their exhibit tables.
*NEED RESPITE CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE IN ORDER TO ATTEND OUR EVENT?
*Supervised care for your loved one will be provided on-site (at no cost) by professional caregivers from Aging True in a separate room at the venue.
FOR THOSE WANTING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS RESPITE SERVICE , PLEASE RESPOND BY AUGUST 31st. (Capacity for respite care is 16 persons, so don't delay in registering! )
