It’s a Thanksgiving eve full of FREE sauna sessions.This is Kindled’s way to give a little back to the community. There are no strings attached.
At 4809 Scherbel Rd, right off Hwy 14 and just outside Cross Plains, sits Salmo Pond.
It’s beautiful, surrounded by walking paths, has many different entries into the water, multiple docks and sitting areas AND has a bathroom (with no running water.)
Come out for a 60 min wood-fired sauna session and a pond dip! - a pre-Holiday social sauna at Salmo if you will.
Please wear whatever you feel comfortable getting sweaty/wet in - most choose a bathing suit while others choose light athletic wear.
Show up well hydrated and BRING PLENTY OF WATER - There is not a spot to refill water bottles.
Please bring two towels - one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off with after.
Sandals/water shoes are nice to move in and out of the creek or pond - there are some rocky areas.
Although these are free, you must sign up! An email will be sent out a day or two prior to your session with some reminders and a waiver to sign. Please let us know if you’ve signed up and are no longer able to show up so that someone else can be offered a spot in your absence.
