Give Back Gig

Join the Visit Austin Foundation and Austin hospitality and culinary during National Travel & Tourism week in celebrating our industry and supporting a great cause. National Travel & Tourism Week celebrates and highlights our industry's essential role in driving the local Austin economy, cultivating vibrant communities, and forging connections.

This year, Give Back Gig will celebrate Austin’s hottest chefs with up-and-coming talent from our local Travis Early College High School culinary program for a unique tasting experience. Highlights include a special tasting menu, developed in collaboration with the chefs and students, specialty beverages, and live music from Austin musician Angélica Rahe and more.

With special guest and emcee for the evening, Jess Pryles of Hardcore Carnivore.

Proceeds from the event will support the Visit Austin Foundation. Founded in 2019, the Visit Austin Foundation helps support aspiring and current hospitality and tourism workers advance their careers through both youth and workforce-based scholarships, mentorship, education and job training.

Registration Rates:
VIP Registration - $225 (early bird through 4/11); $250 (regular rate through 5/2)
**VIP Reception from 5:30 - 6:30 pm includes exclusive bites prepared by Chefs Amanda Turner and Michael Fojtasek of MICHELIN-Starred , premium goodie bag (1 per ticked VIP attendee), live music, and a one of a kind activation. All GA benefits apply as well.
General Admission - $150 (early bird -through 4/11); $175 (regular rate through 5/2)
**Enjoy live entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and drinks, participate in the event raffle and prize drawings, and help celebrate Austin’s next generation of culinary talent. General Admission experience begins at 7:00 pm.
