Git Shorty is an Ohio native who earned his stripes playing with “The Godfather of Soul,” James Brown in the 1960s, before going on to play with some of the most talented musicians of our lifetimes, including Glenn Campbell and Roy Clark to Michael Jackson and Van Halen. The 84-year-old national recording artist still plays with the energy and exuberance of a teenager. More than anything, Git Shorty is a showman! He engages the audience for a show that’s exciting, fun, memorable and unlike anything you have had before.
In his 68th year of touring, Shorty has not slowed down. He is performing with a top-notch backing band, complete with a horn section that ensures a dynamic show unlike anything you have ever seen!
