Break Ground On Girty’s Expanded Trail System!
Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes.
Join ALT’s Stewardship team to clear the way for Girty’s newest portion of trail. Volunteers will use loppers, pruners, and handsaws to roughly cut three-quarters of a mile of new trail. The trail system of Girty’s Woods is growing and improving, and it can’t be done without volunteer involvement! Be the first to know the new best route through the woods.
Tools and gloves will be provided. Participants must wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Long sleeves and a brimmed hat are recommended. Light snacks and water will be provided; please bring a reusable water bottle.
