Girls Rock is an international membership network of youth-centered arts and social justice organizations. They provide resources and space for community building to membership in order to build a strong movement for collective liberation.Northern Virginia has long been in need of a Girls Rock chapter, and we're getting one started at Vanguard! The concert on the 28th will raise funds for a summer camp for young women to make music together. Four great acts--Lud Roes, Sheila, Griefcat and Maddi Mae will be performing! Roxplosion is donating concert photographs of DMV performers Put it on your calendar and we'll see you there!
There will be a suggested donation of $15 for the evening.
