About Girls Rock & Girls Rule:
GRGR was founded by Gail Silverman (lead singer of G-spot) and started off as a one off event in NYC to promote and bring attention to women in hard rock genres, such as rock, punk, metal and more! It grew from a single event to a multi-city tour and featured more than 70 bands and fierce femmes during the10 year run! The tour also gave back to women and girls in the community donating a portion of proceeds from the show and tours to local non-profits.
